Sue Carroll Picklesimer

Sue Carroll Picklesimer, age 84, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 7, 2021. She was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on November 25, 1936 to the late Graden Robert and Etta Opal Stewart. Sue was retired from the State of Ohio. She was a longtime member of Westgate Baptist Church and currently attended Creekside Church. She was very active in her church and community where she fed the homeless, taught in the nursery, and helped with vacation bible school. Sue enjoyed discovering new recipes and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Picklesimer ; grandson, Joseph A. Lathem; sisters, Dorothy, Clara Etta, and Doris; and brothers, James, Robert, Larry, and Pete. She is survived by her children, David (Kim) Picklesimer, Becky Rogers, and Karen (Joe) Costell; grandchildren, Brad (Amanda), Matt, Michael, Bobby, Annie, Stacy, and Sarah(Josh) ; great grandchildren, Kelli, Michelle, Kylie (Juan), Sarah, Christina, Michael, Colin, Austin, Kitana, Daniel, J.D., Jessie, Olivia, Abigail, Emileigh, Gracie Mae, and Madelyn; brother in-law, Dorman, Jr.; special daughter, Diane Stephens; friends, Toby, Anna, and Patty; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at HEART AND HOPE BY SCHOEDINDER, 3030 West Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43204. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 11:00AM at Westgate Baptist Church, 4234 Clime Rd. N. Columbus, Ohio 43228. Pastor Mort Adams and Pastor Tom Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery, Grove City, Ohio.
