
Of Columbus, died Tuesday, February 17, 2026. She was graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1971 and became a lifelong nurse after attending San Diego City College of Nursing. For more than 30 years she worked in various nursing disciplines such as geriatrics, ICU, family practice, and private duty. Throughout her years helping the sick and elderly, she also served as a Deacon at Covenant Presbyterian Church and volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, Heart Association, Leukemia Society, and the Diabetes Association.
Susan is survived by three sons, Brian (Michelle), Adam, and Matthew (Tyler); and former husband David Adair. Preceded in death by parents Dr. William L. Hall and Jo Ann Hall; grandparents Dr. Fred E. Hall and Charlotte Hall, Uncle Dr. Fred H. Hall and wife Lillian, and maternal grandparents Thomas and Ruth Dillon. She is also survived by two granddaughters Abigail and Sophia; two brothers, Garry and William (Billy); as well as nieces and nephews Jo Anne, Shara, Jody, Justin, Bill, and Jacklyn.
Susan had many passions throughout her life, though being a mother was her proudest accomplishment. She spent time playing the electric organ and piano, painting and sketching, enjoying nature, bicycling, and planning, planting, and pruning her beautiful garden. In her youth, she experimented with an amateur radio, was an expert slalom water-skier, ice skated, and rode a motorcycle with her beloved Boston Terrier.
Family and friends will be received at Schoedinger Northwest (1740 Zollinger Rd, Columbus, OH 43221) on Saturday, March 7 between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
