Susan R Burch

Susan Ruth Burch died peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 26, 2018. She was born on January 2, 1940, to the late Ruth (Cryder) and Charles W. Moody. She graduated from Worthington High School in 1958, and Columbus Business University in 1962. She was a cornerstone of several groups: to the Burch, Jones and Tuller families she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. To the McConnell Heart Health Center, she was there every day - sometimes several times a day - and was fond of her friends and instructors. To the Rock City Church, she was a devoted member, and a huge fan of the music there. To her neighbors at Marble Cliff Crossing and Concord Village, she was a wonderful neighbor. She was a devoted friend to Amy, Betty, Cheryl, Lynn, Marsha, Mary Kay, Meg, Monica, Patti, and her QB family. Her favorite things in life were baking with her grandson, Kyle, watching her grandson, Austin pursue his Air Force career, watching her granddaughter, Emily pole vault for the University of Dayton, watching her grandson, Brandon play baseball, and shopping with her granddaughter, Larissa. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Gene P. Burch, and her brother, Dwight Moody. Susan is survived by her daughter, Cindy Jones and her husband, Stu; sons, Gregg Tuller, Geoff Burch and his wife, Cristina; her sister, Ann Hall and her husband, Harry; brother, David Moody and his wife, Barbara; and her beloved grandchildren, Brandon and Larissa, and their mother, Lisa Tuller; Kyle, Austin, Emily; many beloved nieces and nephews, and too many grand-dogs to count. Her granddaughter, Emily shared this on the day she died: "When I am gone look for me in every star, every moon, every brand new day. I am not gone. I am everywhere with you my dear, everywhere the light shines in." Family will receive friends on Monday, August 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd, where a celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018.
