Susan Anne Foster

Susan Anne Foster, age 68, of Whitehall, Ohio, passed away, Friday, December 22, 2023 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital after a brief illness. A loving sister, aunt and great aunt, she was born on August 8, 1955 in Springfield, Illinois to John W. Foster Sr. and Mercedes R. Foster. After Susan graduated from Marion Catholic High School in 1974, she furthered her studies at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio where she graduated in 1978 while excelling in track for several years. She was employed with CVS for 44 years and had recently retired. She loved animals, especially dogs. She was an avid reader and loved solving jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with family and traveling with her good friend, Paula. Susan will be greatly missed by her loving family, friends and her loyal canine companion, Roxie. Surviving are her six siblings, Michele Foster, Renee McGinnis, Cynthia (Kevin) McCune, Jeanette (Mark) Fleming, John (Julie) Foster, Jr., and Marla (Bob) Hajjar. Also survived by her 13 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews and many friends. Besides her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Will McGinnis. Visitation hours will be held 12:30-2:00 pm Friday, December 29, 2023 at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232. Graveside service and interment 2:30 pm Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
