

Susan Schreter Warsaw, age 76, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 4, 2021. She was born on October 23, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Leon and Ruth Schreter.
Suzi will be greatly missed by her husband, Paul Michael "Mickey" Warsaw; daughters, Kimberly (Judith Holiber) Warsaw and Stephanie (Andy) Patton; grandchildren, Jake and Rachel Warsaw, Jack and Sally Patton; and sister-in-law, Jill Selman Ross. In addition to her parents, Suzi was preceded in death by her brother, Nelson Schreter.
Suzi grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. She received a Bachelor's Degree from The Ohio State University and was a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi. After graduating, Suzi moved to Portsmouth, Ohio where she taught at Holy Redeemer Catholic School. Suzi was a volunteer for many different efforts in Portsmouth including the arts and community service. She was also an active member of Temple B'nai Abraham. Suzi worked for over 20 years and retired from Shawnee State University, where she established the Development Department and created the position of Development Director. After retirement, Suzi shared her time between Savannah, Georgia and Columbus, Ohio enabling her to spend more time with family. Suzi and her husband Mickey, recently became residents of First Community Village.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of National Church Residences, 2335 North Bank Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43220 or charity of your choice.
