It is with heavy hearts that the family of Susanne P. Sherwood announces her passing. Susanne, age 78, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021. She was born in Columbus Ohio, March 16, 1942. Susanne was an exceptional card player. She also loved playing the piano and dancing. Susanne was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. In addition to raising two children, she was employed by Rockwell International and The Heinzerling Foundation. Throughout her career she enjoyed working with and meeting new people. Susanne was preceded in death by her parents, Ferd and Ruth Pickens, her brother Ferd Pickens II, the father of her children, Robert Sherwood, her mother-in-law Gerry Sherwood, and her pride and joy, her son, Brian Sherwood. Susanne is survived by her daughter Kelly Sherwood, her beloved cat Emily, her niece Paige Schlembach and family, her nephew Martin Pickens and family; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 17 at 4:00 pm at the Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road.
