Susanne L. Stanton, 90, passed away on May 6, 2020. She was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania on November 23, 1929 to the late Howard and Margaret Hoover. Susanne met her first husband on a blind date where they went dancing. They fell in love, married, and had three children together. They enjoyed their time until his passing in 1975. She met her second husband and enjoyed traveling overseas with him. They lived in Florida for 30 years where she enjoyed living in the canal watching the wild animals, including the birds and manatees. She enjoyed getting her exercise at her swimming classes.
Susanne is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Louis Fenell; second husband, William Stanton; and sister Kay Carothers. She will be greatly missed by her children, Jeffrey (Darlene) Fenell, Paula (Robert) Hillyer, and Karen Lutz; grandchildren, David and Erica Hillyer, and Tyler Lutz; and great grandchild, Ashley Hillyer.
