Suzanne Embree Sinclair, age 82 of Grandview Heights, went to her ultimate home sweet home Saturday, March 10, 2018 to be with her Lord and Savior whom she invited into her heart one year ago. Sue was born in Chicago, IL, growing up in the suburb of Winnetka, oldest child of the late Henry and Ruth Embree. Following high school at New Trier, Sue attended Wellesley and later in life finished college at The Ohio State University graduating Summa cum Laude. Sue worked nearly 30 years before retiring as a preschool teacher for the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities. She was a member of ARC 14 (50+ years); B.R.E.A.D., C.A.I.P.; Grandview Garden Club, Grandview Historical Society, LifeCare Alliance and a volunteer for many years at Stevenson Elementary. Sue was a truly loving, caring and selfless woman. She was affectionately known to many as "Mom". She always put others first, never expecting anything in return. She enjoyed gardening, but above all was an extremely dedicated and supportive Mom and Grandmother, never missing any of their events. She will be greatly missed by her sons, Bruce (Gayle) and Bret E. Sinclair; grandchildren Rebekah, Rachel, Joshua (Amy) and David Sinclair; Great grandson Baen Sinclair; siblings Thomas (Connie) Embree, Carolyn (Al) Drake; Lynn Brady, who was like a daughter and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday April 6 at Christian Fellowship Church, 5970 Godown Rd, 43235, where a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL. Contributions may be made to ARC 14, c/o Emilie Miller 1961 Concord Rd. Upper Arlington, OH 43212 (Aid to Real Special Needs Children).
