Teresa Virginia Bond

Teresa Virginia Bond, age 69, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, was ushered into the presence of the Lord on Monday, February 6, 2017 surrounded by her children and family. She battled cancer for 15 years. She was born Teresa Virginia Davis on January 29, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Richard P. Davis & Virginia Pursley. She graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School in Columbus, Ohio in 1966. Teresa started employment with Bellmar Parts & Industry in 1987 (which became Honda Transmission Manufacturing) where she retired as a production coordinator in 2014. She was known as a loyal & faithful worker even while battling her cancer. She enjoyed gardening, craft fairs and loved to pamper her beagle and longtime companion, Cyrus.

Teresa had 7 biological children but was known as mom to many others. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Bellefontaine. In all the endeavors in her life, she was always faithful and was known for her unselfish, sacrificial and generous personality. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Annie Shover. She is survived by sons Andrew Ward of Columbus, OH, Nicholas (Tiffany) Ward of Bellefontaine, OH, Christopher (Jessica) Ward of Los Angeles, CA, Aaron (Adrienne) Ward Columbus, OH, and Matthew Ward of Columbus, OH; daughters Mary (Jeff) Matthews of Rock Island, IL, and Sarah (Mike) Hall of Grove City, OH; grandchildren Trevor (Emily), Tyleigh, Austin, Chloe, Lilyan, Isabel, Adam, Aubrey, AJ, Zachary and Hannah; and brothers Michael and Philip.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel 3920 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery - Lockbourne.
