It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Teresa Kay (Yee) Cline, a wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully on July 21, 2025, surrounded by family and love.
Teresa was a gentle soul, soft-spoken and kind beyond measure. Born on March 20, 1957 and raised in Columbus, Ohio, she was a quiet constant and a most sincere person in the lives of all who knew her - a beacon of compassion, patience, and unwavering love. These characteristics were woven into everything she did. In every season of her life, she put the needs of others before her own, never seeking recognition, only hoping to make someone else's day a little bit brighter.
At the center of her heart were her children: Patty, Joe, Catherine, and Jordan, the true highlight of her life. Her love for them was boundless, her devotion steadfast. Every moment, every sacrifice, every gentle word was for them. She left them a lasting legacy of compassion, humility, and strength.
Beside her was her unwavering husband, Mike, her rock and her partner in all things. Their love was a quiet and constant strength - rooted in deep mutual respect, shared dreams, and many years of standing together through the joys and challenges of life. His faithfulness never faltered, and theirs was a bond that remains unbroken even in her passing.
Preceded in death, her brother, Ronald Yee, her mother, Betty Wong Yee, and her father, Arthur Min Yee. Teresa leaves behind her husband, Michael Cline, her children: Patricia, Joseph, Catherine, and Jordan (Rose), her grandchildren: Eliza and Emerson, her brother, Gary (Fong) Yee, her sisters: Gail (Jack) Sauer, Elaine (Jason) Ketchum, Susan (Larry) Weinberg, Jane (Paul) Miner, and Leigh (Bryon) Kane, and many nieces and nephews she doted upon.
Our hearts ache with her absence, we know her legacy of love and her quiet yet fierce strength will continue to inspire us every day. Teresa was, and will always be, a rare and beautiful soul, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a grandmother, an aunt, and a Yee sister with a heart of gold.
We will honor Teresa with a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Capital City Hospice
