Teresa "Terri" Ann Pfenning

Teresa “Terri” Pfenning, 73 of Apple Valley, OH, went to her heavenly home on the afternoon of February 2, 2026.

She was born on June 23, 1952 in Crawfordsville to the late Charles Reece Stafford and Mary Lou Stafford.

She married Ted Pfenning at Rochdale Christian Church on June 15, 1974. He survives.

Terri graduated from the first graduating class of North Putnam High School in 1970. She then graduated from Indiana State University. After college, she began her career as an executive secretary with GTE Directories.

She was a member of Rochdale Christian Church and was still in friendship with many members there. In Ohio, she and Ted were members of Northwest Christian Church. Her love of service to the church was in music ministry and in hospitality. She was a long standing member of both the adult choir and the handbell choir. In addition, she helped with Youth Musicals and setting up many receptions and gatherings.

Terri loved her Lord and Savior, The Word, music , family and especially her own dear family. She is survived by her husband, Ted; two sons, Chris (Laura) Pfenning of Hotchkiss, CO and Matt (Cassidy) Pfenning of Warsaw, OH; Twin granddaughters, Avery Gwen and Amelia Ann Pfenning (Matt and Cassidy) ; Sister, Nancy Stafford Clark (Jim) and Brothers, Jon Noland Stafford (Janet) and Jerry Noland (Nancy); Nephews: Michael and Justin Hill, Jon and Jayson Noland; Niece, Jennifer Miles and great nephews, Wyatt Miles and Joe Hill.

Funeral Services will be held at Northwest Christian Church, 1340 Fishinger Road, Upper Arlington, OH. Viewing will begin at 1:00PM Friday with service following at 2:00PM. Schoedinger Northwest is entrusted with her arrangements.

An additional remembrance service will be held at Roachdale Christian Church, 02 Franklin St, Roachdale, IN 46172. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Roachdale Christian Church on Saturday from 11-12:00PM until the time of service at 12 Noon.

She will be laid to rest in Roachdale Cemetery.
