Terry L. Belcher

Terry grew up in Cross Creek Township and educated in the Wintersville School District, graduating from Wintersville High School class of 1964. In the years after graduation Terry went on to live in Manhattan New York and the DMV area, before returning to the Ohio Valley where she lived for over 20 years. She worked for Weirton Steel in the steel plant and in accounting as well. Upon moving to Columbus, she worked for the State of Ohio until her retirement.

Terry enjoyed being active outdoors and she loved to cook. It was common to find her preparing meals for friends and family, near and far. During the holidays you could find her mailing out pans of her macaroni and cheese, dressing, and home baked cookies. Feeding people fed her soul.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Sr. and Beatrice Underwood, husband Roshell Belcher, and siblings Ernest Jr., John, Robert, William, and Adonna Underwood.

Terry leaves behind her family, who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Brothers Frank Underwood Sr. of Petersburg, VA and Gary Underwood of Burleson TX. Daughters Adonna Mullins (Russell), of Atlanta, GA, Ebony Belcher, of Atlanta, GA, and Courtney Belcher (Amir), of Columbus, OH. Grandchildren Devin Haskins Sr. (Remy), of Atlanta, GA, Onya Johnson (Michael), of Atlanta, GA, Breonna Brown, of Columbus, OH, and Christopher Robinson, of Columbus. OH. Great Grandchildren Faith, Kyleigh, Kennedy, Khylan, Devin Jr., and Aaron. Terry will also be missed by her special nieces, nephews, and host of good friends.

Memorial Service will be at 4:00 PM, Friday February 7, 2025, at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Road where visitation and fellowship will follow from 5:00- 7:00 PM. The family asks guests to wear the unity color yellow, which was her favorite.
