Thane Bock

Thane K. Bock, of 83 years, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Thane was preceded in death by his father and mother, Gerald and Lavaun Bock of Bowersville, Ohio. Thane has also gone to join his wife, Lynne T Bock and stepmother, Virginia Rose Bock. Thane is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, where he studied accounting. He received an MBA from The Ohio State University. He was a CPA with his own accounting firm until retirement. Thane was also a reserve member of the Ohio National Guard and owner of Willow Run Golf Course. Thane loved family, friends, and sports. Thane thoroughly enjoyed being on a golf course or watching The Ohio State Buckeyes football and basketball games. Thane was an active member of the Church of Messiah, Westerville and United Methodist Church, Fort Myers.

Thane is survived by his children, Steven (Jana) Bock of Westerville and Andrea Bock of Gahanna. Thane is also survived by his daughter-in-Law, Terri Bock and grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, and Arabella.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 2pm-4pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. A Memorial Service will follow for close family at 4pm.
