Thelma A. (Firman) Wilson

Thelma A. Wilson passed into the arms of God on September 24, 2015. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 8, 1923 to George and Lois Reams. Thelma loved to travel, read and write poetry. She was a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan and really enjoyed working there both at the Student Union and the Power Plant. She is preceded in death by her son, Tom, her parents, and two brothers, George and Kenny. She is survived by four of her five children, Mike (Kathy) Firman, Phyllis (Bob) DeFord, Dave (Denise) Firman and John Firman; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; also her 2 brothers, Louis (Osie) Reams and Arthur (Marilyn) Reams; 3 sisters, Barbara Swetnam, Dorothy (Russell) Chick and Nancy Gillespie and many loving nieces and nephews. Her family is very grateful for the loving care she received at Country View of Sunbury and Heartland Hospice. Family will welcome friends 4-7pm Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229 where her funeral will be held at 10am Wednesday; burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery.
