

He was born on February 28, 1952 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Eugene and Lucille (Grooms) Lawson. Thomas was with his loving wife Debbie for 44 years. He loved playing golf—he treasured his Spring golf trips with his closest friends. A devoted father, Thomas enjoyed traveling and watching his son play baseball. He loved spending time with his family and making them home cooked meals. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 285 in Hebron. He was employed by Walker Mfg. from 1978-1994 and has been employed by Lakewood High School since 1994, and little league baseball coach for several years. Tom was a man of great integrity and talent—there wasn’t anything he could not do. Tom was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.
Thomas is survived by his wife Debbie(Sex), son Aaron (Stephanie), brothers, Danny P. (Annie), David E. (Barb), and Randy G. (Laura). Also surviving are many great friends: Marcia James, Gary Whitt, Jack and Joan Maybury, Arnie Ettenhoffer, Jay Gault, Rich Orr, Rick Anthony, Tommy Thompson and Steve and Shelly McKinney. The family would like to give a special thanks to his Heartland Hospice caregivers Jane and Gigi, his sister-in-law Pam, and his niece Susie and her family Doc and David.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 2:30-7pm at Boring-Sheridan Schoedinger Funeral Home 108 North 7th Street, Hebron. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 3pm at the Hebron United Methodist Church with Pastor Brian Harkness officiating.
