Victor Tackett, age 81, of Grayson, Kentucky died Monday, September 2, 2013. He was born April 1, 1932 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Alf and Rachel (Branham) Tackett. He enjoyed being outdoors and tending to property. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Lou (Cole) Tackett and daughters, Teresa Kelly and Vonda K. Staton. Victor is survived by children, Ada (James) Blankenship, Lynette Tackett, Sharon Fran (Dawson) Helton, Tracy (Steve) Carrico, Rodney (Timberly) Tackett, and Victor Andre (Phyllis) Tackett; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will be held 10 AM Friday. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
