Violet May Duffey, age 83, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was born on March 13, 1933 in Wheeling, WV to the late Charles W. and Rebecca M. (McManus) Bonem. Preceded in death by her husband of 14 years, Harry John Duffey, Jr.; children, Roger, David, Bonnie, and Joshua; sister, Lorraine: nephews, Tommy and Vincent. Survived by her son, Roy G. Duffey, Sr. (Deb Roller); grandson, Roy G. Duffey, Jr. (McKinsey); great-grandchildren, Olivia, David, and Myra. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Pastor Chip Koch officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster.
