Vivian J. Wells

A funeral service for Vivian J. Wells, 88, of Newark, will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at 1:00 PM at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Wayt officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Wells was born in Newark, Ohio on January 15, 1925, to the late Bernard and Alta (Mills) Harris. She passed away at her residence on December 11, 2013.

She was a member of Cox United Methodist Church and the Heath Extension Club. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Madeleine E. and John W. Hosterman of Circleville; grandchildren, Dr. Brian Hosterman, Stephen (Dr. Danielle Dani) Hosterman, Jeffery Hosterman and Mark Hosterman; great-grandchildren, Andrew Hosterman, Eli Hosterman and Charles Hosterman; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Wells in 2002; daughter, Charlotte L. Wood in 2011; brother Galen Harris and two sisters, Wanza Cluggish and Jean Holman.
