

Walter M. Hall, 92, of Circleville, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at Berger Hospital. He was born September 16, 1920 in Boise, Idaho, the son of Orma A. and Mary Julia (Spencer) Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elizabeth (Thompson) Hall; grandson, Kurt Messmer; and brother, John Hall. Walter was a WWII Air Force Veteran and retired as a Lt. Colonel. He then went to work as a chemist for PPG and retired after 35 years service. Walter was a member of Community United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of the Kiwanis and volunteered for many years with the Red Cross and American Heart Association.
He is survived by his daughters, Carol A. Koss of Pittsburgh, PA and Janet Gayle (John) Whitt of East Syracuse, NY; granddaughter, Kirsten Crowe; great-grandchildren, Michael Messmer and Karleigh Crowe; second wife, Morlinah Peart; and many special friends.
