Wayne Moore

Wayne E. Moore, age 76, formerly a longtime resident of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away very quickly due to Covid-19 Sunday, December 20, 2020 in Ellettsville, Indiana where he has resided the last seven years. He was born January 4, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late William and Loretta (Sharp) Moore. Wayne retired from the Reynoldsburg City Schools following over 30 years of service. He is survived by his daughters, Juli (Greg) Adamson, of Bloomington, IN and Jamie (Duane) Herdman, of Chillicothe, OH; his grandchildren, Mardi and Madeline Grossman, Cole Adamson, Caeman and Megan Herdman. Also, brother, Fred Moore, sisters, Barbara (Tony) Woolridge, Connie Capehart, Wilda Kuhn, Beckie Moore and Vickie Cosner; many nieces and nephews and many friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Sandra Moore and his sister, Kay Moen. He formerly attended Lifeway Baptist Church in Ellettsville, IN and was a member of Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church. Wayne loved to play bingo, spend time with his family, go out for meals/ice cream, travel and wear and collect all things Disney. Friends may call 2-5 pm Sunday, January 10, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232 where funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Monday, January 11, 2021. Interment to follow Silent Home Cemetery. Attendance levels will be monitored to stay in compliance with social distancing guidelines and masks are required for family and all guests.
