

Bill worked for Baxter International, Abbott Laboratories, and Davies Engineering Services. He enjoyed spending his time with his family. His favorite job was being Grandpa. He was an avid reader and video gamer. Bill was a lifelong Do-It-Yourself enthusiast, he tackled projects large and small for the home, autos, and the shop. He especially enjoyed to doing projects, where he could help family, friends, and neighbors. In his retirement, he dedicated time to community service by volunteering at COSI, Westerville Public Library, and Columbus Dog Connection.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents
Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years, LaVonne, sons, Brad and Greg (Jennifer) Davies; grandchild, Rylan; brother, Bruce (Darcy) Davies; nephews, William and Brian Davies; aunt, Sue (Stan) Peterson; brothers-in-law, Bill (Irene) Storrer and Jerry Storrer; sister-in-law, Brenda (Mike) Schierling; and a host loving family and friends.
Thank you to the dedicated staff at the following agencies for their care and compassion, during Bill's two-year battle with Lymphoma: Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital, Zangmeister Cancer Center, The James Cancer Center, The Laurels of Gahanna, and Hospice of Central Ohio.
Family will receive friends on Sunday January 13, 2018 from 2-4pm at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
