

William E. “Bill” Deegan, 78, died peacefully Thursday, November 4, 2010, surrounded by his adoring family. He was born May 7, 1932 in San Francisco, CA. to George L. and Helen M. Deegan. Bill is survived
by his loving wife, Sandra Deegan: cherished children, Beth (Marvin) Lightner, Amy Roslovic, and George Deegan; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Emily, Nicky, Joey, Andrew and Anne. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Johnson, niece, Kristin and nephews Matt, Bill and Mike. He was
preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Mark. Bill was a graduate of St. Agatha Elementary School, Upper Arlington High School and Cornell University. After graduating, he returned to Columbus, OH and was a founding principal of the First Columbus Corporation. Throughout his career, he was involved in various real estate and business pursuits and in 1978 he retired and moved to Naples, FL. Friends are invited to be with the family Friday, November 12, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road, with Fr. Daniel Ochs, Celebrant. Private interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105, in Bill’s memory.
