Having just learned of Bill's passing I am heartbroken.

Bill was such a good friend. He was so positive and friendly. He was such a great musician; forming the Bill Huber Big Band and also playing saxophone in Spike Edsel and the Brewsers. We also played so many performances at Whetstone.

Rest in peace my friend. :heart::disappointed_relieved:

I met Billy while on the CSC race team. He along with David Minton dec.Otis and Others besides myself started the Rat Patrol. He was a good friend,racer, beer drinker & Club member.
Ok Dog you and Minton can bust gates together again.

I met Bill shortly after joining the race team ln 1989 he was a good friend and helped me greatly by sharing his knowledge of racing techniques. He was always friendly and available. My condolences to Brenna and her Mother

I first met Bill and Deb when my daughter and I joined the Columbus Ski Club race team. He was a pleasure to be around. My heart goes out to Trevor and Brenna.

Billy Huber always had a smile, a smirk or a shit eating grin on his face and a Song in his Heart, he was always giggling and laughing. From the age of 3 the Fenway neighborhood tribe was born, Billy, Debbie and myself were all the same age separated by a couple of months and a few houses.  We spent countless hours playing in the creek, the woods, sledding, biking (Billy broke my collarbone in a crash), playing in Billy’s dad’s Antique car (which we were not allowed in), playing in Billy’s dad’s darkroom and brother John’s bedroom (which were in the basement and we were also not allowed in), staying out past dark, camping in each other’s backyards and hanging out in the neatest wooden fort at Billy’s.  And, let us not forget our daily attempts at giving Mr. Palley (our mailman), a flat tire so he would have to stay and play with us all day.  The fun we had and the lessons we learned can only be measured by our memories. My friend I have nothing but very fond memories of you and the joy that you brought into my life.  My childhood and adolescence  were better because of you, for that I’m Grateful.  Rest easy my Friend, know that you are Loved and will not be forgotten, you still make me laugh.

Bill and I grew up together on Fenway Rd.  We were friends from kindergarten all the way through high school.  When I was back in town for the holidays we would do lunch or dinner and we kept in touch periodically through the year or through FB.  He bragged about his children and did all he could to help them.  We had great times together.  I will miss him!  May he rest in peace.

Bill and I started elementary school together and both graduated from Whetstone High Class of 1977. We both were saxophone players and played in bands together. Great memories of good times together. May he rest in peace and light.

I had the pleasure of playing in a band with Bill 40 years ago or so.  Many fond memories from that time & later.  He will be sorely missed.

Bill was a friend from kindergarten! I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man. I have such great memories. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
