William L. "Billy" Lane

William “Billy” L. Lane, age 25, of Upper Arlington died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. He was born on May 12, 1985 in Columbus to Tom and Dorothy Lane, who survive. Billy is also survived by his brother, Bobby Lane, Sgt USMCR; sister, Jessica Lane, ET-3 USCG; grandmother, Judith Aikman; aunts and uncles, Rik (Diane) Aikman, Peter (Cathy) Aikman and Catherine (Randy) Kopp and several cousins, all of Canada; best friend, Dylan Knisley; and many other close friends. Billy was a 2003 graduate of Upper Arlington High School, where he was involved in the golf and wrestling teams. He went on to attend The Ohio State University. Billy enjoyed golfing, motorcycling, cards and spending days outdoors. He was an avid pool player and loved math tutoring. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 2-5pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221.
