William Oglesbee

William G Oglesbee, born February 14, 1954, to Ida and Everett Oglesbee, Jr., passed away in his wife's arms on March 19, 2020. Bill is survived by his wife, partner and best friend of 30 years, TJ (Twana); son Shawn (Billie) Oglesbee, daughter Rachelle (John) Pancoast, and son Jesse (Crissy) Cunningham; he was Grandpa and Peepaw to his 4 beautiful and beloved grandchildren whom he adored - Jenna, Everett, Jesse Cohen, and Jacob. Also surviving are his mother Ida, brother Mike (Jan) Oglesbee, and sisters Patty Oglesbee, Katie (Ron) Hoskinson, Mackey Hill, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Bill. In addition to family members, Bill will be sadly missed by a host of friends and his "other wife" Bev!

He was preceded in death by his father Everett Oglesbee, brother Eddie Oglesbee, and sister Loy Shriberg.

"BillO" who was retired, had a life-long career in the waste disposal industry and loved "his guys". He took great pleasure in planting flowers, growing tomatoes, precisely mowing the grass at different angles, building furniture, birdhouses, and holiday decorations and generally just tinkering around! Oh, and let's not forget how he loved to grill you one of his famous steaks. As a child Bill was commonly referred to as a "turd of misery" by his grandmother. He cherished his family, and often spoke proudly of his children, their independence, and self-sufficiency.

Although we were together 5 years prior, our adventure began on October 16, 1989. The places we've been, the things we've done, the true love we shared - I could not ask for more. I will always love you, and can't imagine how I'm going to manage without you … but because of your love and faith in me I will find a way. Rest well My Valentine.
