

Bill retired as a machinist at Yeager Machine after 30 years before becoming employed with O.D.O.T. as a Labor Relations Officer for 13 years. Bill was very active in the American Legion Post #532 where he was the S.A.L past Commander. also active in the AMVETS. Bill never complained and always had a good day. He will be fondly remembered for his good sense of humor.
Preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Adams; son, William “Bill” Adams; parents, Mary and James Penix; and brothers, Marvin Reed and Paul Penix, Sr. Bill will be missed by his daughter, Debbie (Don) Thomas; granddaughter, Jody Buzzard; great-granddaughter, Nichole Buzzard; and former wife, Joan Sindel.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 2-5 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, where the funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
