Ann Flynn

Ann Flynn of Rockland, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 5, 2026.

Ann was born in Gola Island, County Donegal, Ireland to John and Mary McBride and one of nine siblings. Ann immigrated to America to pursue her dreams of becoming a nurse. She was determined and pursued her nursing degree at night while working full time throughout the day. She graduated from Elizabeth Ann Seton College as a Registered Nurse. She has blessed many with her caring and giving nature.

Ann is predeceased by her husband, Patrick Flynn, and siblings; Marie, Eileen, and Donal McBride. Ann is survived by her siblings; Una McBride, Nora Devaney, Ownie McBride (Bernie) , and Margaret Griffin (Martin); and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., located at 113 Lake Road East, Congers, NY 10920, on January 8, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Augustine's Church, 118 S Main St, New City, NY 10956, on January 9, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, 36 W Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954, on January 9, 2026, from 12:45 pm to 1:15 pm.
