Opal H. Keeton Crank

Opal H. Keeton Crank, 84, of Connersville, died Monday, December 23, 2019, at her residence. Opal was born July 15, 1935 to William and Margaret Young Vaught. After many faithful years of service, she retired from Ford-Visteon in Connersville. Opal was not one to set idle for very long as she enjoyed many hobbies including canning vegetables from her garden, fishing, camping trips and exploring caves. She also attended Western Avenue Baptist Church. Opal will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Opal is survived by her two sons: Kevin Keeton of Connersville, Kenny Keeton of Brookville; daughter: Karen Holland of Connersville. In addition to her parents, Opal is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Henry Walter Keeton; a son Keith Keeton; brothers: Harvey Vaught, James W. Vaught, John H. Vaught; sisters: Eva C. Hall and Mildred E. Busse. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Interment will follow in Village Creek cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until time of service.
