I learned only yesterday of Mandy's passing. We attended Wesley Chapel Elementary and Southwest DeKalb High Schools together. She was one of my earliest school friends -- and I'd actually looked for her via social networking in recent years. She was kind and smart -- quiet in those days yet always attentive. She was a wonderful person.

Praying that God will wash over your family with comfort and give you peace, strength and hope. God bless you.

I saw a big, bright, colorful, double rainbow in the sky late yesterday afternoon and I felt Mandy saying--I am here watching over you all!  Wesley and girls you now have a true Angel for a mother and wife looking down over you every moment of everyday! Mandy was always one of the first to buy flower arrangements from me at Christmas...I will never forget the time she brought one back and said can you fix this - the candle melted all over it...she had put it in the attic...we laughed and of course I fixed it for her....She will truly be missed - 

When you see a rainbow - Angels are looking down - think of Mandy when you see a rainbow and smile - she is looking down at you with a smile too!

Mandy, I have many happy memories of the time we spent together growing up.  You left us much too soon.  You brought so much happiness to so many lives.  You are loved and painfully missed.  I pray that your family and loved ones will find comfort in the cherished memories you gave them during your short time on this earth.

Mandy and I shared alot of good times together as Girl Scout leaders.  She was an amazing person who loved life.
