Kierstyn Jordan "Jordan" Brunell

Kierstyn "Jordan" Brunell, 14, of Conyers, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 7, 2011. A funeral to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Horis A. Ward, Rockdale Chapel, with Pastors Rodney Hall and Timothy Owens officiating. Entombment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.

A beautiful daughter, her smile brightened the lives of everyone who knew her. Jordan was in the 9th grade at Heritage High School and dreamed of attending UGA. She danced ballet, tap and jazz and loved softball. Full of life energy, she smiled everyday of her life, even until the very end. Jordan is survived by her loving parents, Rustie & Chad Morris, of Conyers, and Adam & Rachel Brunell, of Covington; her step-parents, Monica & Steve Ryals, of Conyers; brothers and sisters: Jace, Zachary and Taylor Morris, Destinee and Conner Brunell, Logan Ryals, Robin Starrett, Jimmy Dale Lane, and Sera Sorrow; grandparents, Lorelei & Jerry Duren, of Conyers, Roger & Candy Brunell, of Conyers, Penny & Ron Sims, of Conyers, and Anita & Ralph Morris, of Monticello; great-grand parents, Shirley & Donald Pierce, of Stockbrige, Peggy Watts, of Covington, Ida Brunell of Murfreesboro, N.C.; god parents, Heather & Shane Duren of Conyers; and many aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Debbie Brunell, great-grandparents, Betty and Earl Heller and Harold Duren, Sr. and Geroge Brunell.

The family will receive friends on Thursday and Friday, January 13 and 14, at Horis A. Ward, Rockdale Chapel, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. Memorial donations may be made to: Kierstyn Jordan Brunell Foundation at any Wells Fargo Bank location.
