

Skye was a vibrant, loving mother who cherished her daughters with all her heart. She enjoyed spending time with them, whether it was baking, coloring, watching movies, or listening to music together. Her devotion to her family was unmatched, and she made every moment count.
A woman of faith, Skye found comfort and community at the Church of Christ of the Valley. She also found peace in the simple things, especially in moments spent watching the sunset.
Known for her strength, Skye had a remarkable sense of humor and was always able to find laughter, even during difficult times. Her infectious personality could easily draw a crowd, and she was often the center of attention at family gatherings, especially at barbecues, which she enjoyed dearly. Skye’s presence left a lasting impression, and she will be remembered for her lively spirit and loving heart.
Skye is survived by her fiancé Adam Mares and their two daughters, Lilliana Jane Mares and Mellody Rain Mares. She is also survived by her siblings, Steven Johns, Tony Lewis, Denise Lewis and Andrea Macias.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father and her sister MaryJane Lewis.
Mass will be held Friday, April 11th at St. Anthony’s Catholic Mission beginning at 10:00am with a sunset burial at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Bapchule.
Skye will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
