She was preceded in death by her parents, Norwegian immigrants Andrew and Inga (Hansen) Ronning; first husband, Louis Schweigert (US Army, died France, 1943); brother, Don Ronning; and by her loving husband of 60 years, Abner L. Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Crossley-Holland (Kevin); her son, Greg Jones (Ann); granddaughters, Jennifer and Megan; many nieces and nephews.
Bernice’s anchor was the 12-step program, her family and dear friends put wind in her sails, she lifted us all with her smile and infectious giggle.

Abiding Savior Lutheran Church
Moundsview, Minnesota
Visitation one hour before the service.
Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery
