Daryl A. Gustafson, age 74, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, passed away August 1, 2022, following a protracted battle with mesothelioma. Throughout Daryl’s life, family was of utmost importance to him, and celebrating his 50th wedding anniversary in July was of special significance.
He is preceded in death by his parents (Hillard and MaryAnn), brother (Gary), and sister (Vicki). He is survived by his wife Sandra, daughters Margaret (Christopher) and Mande (Stephen), grandson Anders, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Daryl was a US Navy Veteran and retired master electrician.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55448. Visitation at 10:30 AM with service at 11:30 AM. Refreshments to follow. For those who would like to attend the interment, please join us at the main gate at Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis at 3:00 PM.
