Age 81 of Coon Rapids, Minnesota passed away on March 27, 2024.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Wayne Carlson, and son Stephen M. Tell.
Dianne was born in Sioux City, Iowa on April 12, 1942. Her family moved to Edina, Minnesota where she graduated from Edina High School in 1960. Dianne graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
In May of 1967 Dianne married Stephen Tell of Edina, Minnesota. Together they had four children. Dianne and Steve relocated to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota in 1973 and then returned to the Twin Cities area in 1980 settling in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
Dianne was a wonderful mother, instilling in her children a love of reading books, listening to music and attending sporting events. She enjoyed crafting with family and friends and possessed an artistic talent. Dianne loved her role as a grandmother and she attended many plays, school functions and sporting events.
Dianne worked as a residential real estate agent in the Twin Cities for over 30 years. She made many friends and relationships within the industry. Dianne’s clients came back to her repeatedly because of her sincere and heartfelt approach which focused on their needs.
Dianne is survived by her children Julia (Michael) Schutt, David (Morgan) Tell, and Michael (Jennifer) Tell as well as her grandchildren Jacob, Angela, Aaron, Benjamin and Sara Schutt, Mason Tell. She is also survived by her former husband Stephen Tell and her brother Dan Carlson along with many nieces and nephews.
Details for her celebration of life are as follows: Visitation will begin at 9:30am. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am on Friday, April 12, 2024 at The Church of the Epiphany, 1900 111th Ave NW, Coon Rapids, followed by onsite lunch. Interment at Epiphany Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association.
