Age 74, of Coon Rapids, passed away at Unity Hospital on February 6, 2013. Former Hennepin County Sheriff; former member Independent Order of the Odd Fellows & of Muskies Inc; and avid stamp collector. Survived by wife, Cherie; daughters, Jody Goehringer (Jim) & Wendy Salisbury (Jim Thurmes); 4 grandsons: Jason Salisbury, Josh & Jared Goehringer, and L.J. York; great-granddaughter, Neveah Salisbury; brother, Jim Salisbury; extended family & friends. Funeral Service: 7 PM, FRIDAY, February 8, 2013 at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
