Preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Florence Roufs; brothers, Duane and Robert Roufs; sisters, Leona and Darlene Roufs.
Survived by her loving husband of 54 years, David Allen; children, Jane (Wayne) McKinven, Bryan Allen, Michael (Krista) Allen; grandchildren, Zach, Sam, Hallie Jo, Nate, Jake, Brody, Ella, Elizabeth (Dani); sister, Donna Johnson.
Betty grew up on her family farm near Milltown, WI. As a teenager, she worked as a server for a local drive-in. In 1966, Betty met David in Columbia Heights and shortly after, they were married. In 1970, they moved to Milltown, WI where they lived for 21 years until returning to the Minneapolis area. Betty’s greatest joy in life was watching her children and grandchildren grow up, spending time with them and attending their sporting events and other activities. Betty maintained lifelong Cherished friendships with many of the people throughout her life and her relationship with the Lord and her faith community was a very happy place for her.
A private family service with interment in Morningside Memorial Gardens will be held.
