Greg will be deeply missed by his wife of 53 years, Judy; children, Janel (Steve), Jill (Dan), Christie (Rick), Kelly (Sean), Katie (Nathan), Kevin, and Cassie; grandchildren, Brianna, Alexis, Jackson, Gabriella, Brady, Teagan, Harlyn, Frankie, Tatum, Cooper, Amelie, and Cash; great-grandchild, Jaidyn; siblings, Doug (Donna), Lee Ann (Bruce), Jeff (Pat), Tim (Debbie), and Karla (Rob); many nieces and nephews.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Opal.
Greg worked for MN Department of Transportation and retired after 42 years of working. He enjoyed being outdoors going on nature walks, gardening, traveling, and riding his motorcycle on the open road. He was a longtime softball player, playing in many different leagues throughout his adulthood. Greg’s faith was very important to him. He attended Church of St. Timothy in Blaine. Above all else, he loved and cherished his family.
Visitation will begin at 10am until time of service at 11am on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids. Interment at Morningside Memorial Gardens at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Greg’s name to Alpha-1 Foundation or Williams Syndrome Foundation.
