She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Robert Bedell, parents George and Mildred (Flick) Boyer, sisters Adeline and Neva, brothers Arvid, Wallace, Marvin, Earl, Romaine and James, as well as daughter-in-law Pamela Bedell and grandson John Bedell.
She is survived by her sons Jeffrey (Patricia), Arden (Jane), and Brett Bedell. She is also survived by granddaughters Jennifer (Tommy) Nixon, Amanda (Sean) Bedell-Comstock, and Victoria Bedell, as well as grandsons James (Alicia), Kent, Kele, and Daniel Bedell. She has three great-grandchildren Athena, Ransom and Orson.
Jean enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing cards, and experimental cooking. We always dreaded the recipes she found in magazines. Most sounded better on paper than they tasted on our plates. She had numerous dogs and cats over the years and loved them all dearly. Jean made her home in Coon Rapids Minnesota for 60 years before moving to Oregon in 2009.
