Joseph Allen Anderson, age 49 of Coon Rapids, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020 in Boulder Colorado. Joseph was born December 20, 1970. He graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1989. He studied at North Dakota State College of Science and transferred to Minnesota State University in Mankato. After his time in college, Joseph resided in Boulder, Colorado. Joseph had many hobbies; he loved Golden Gloves boxing; he was a baseball pitcher and a football player; he was a competitive downhill and mogul skier, and he became an instructor in Colorado. Joseph was the owner of many companies; Paint & Stain, and Concrete Etching.
He is preceded in death by father, Larry B. Anderson.
He is survived by his children, Danny, Kaylee Tyler and Aspen; grandchildren; mother, Judith; two brothers, Jeff and James (Tammy); Nieces and Nephews; many friends.
A service of remembrance for Joseph will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 6:30 PM at Presbyterian Church of the Master, 789 Northdale Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, Minnesota 55448. Following the service please join the family at James and Tammy's home (806 Northdale Blvd. NW Coon Rapids) for a bonfire, hors d'oeuvres and bring your own beverage.
