Winter of 2021-22
Joe and I had a lot of fun plowing the MPLS/ST. PAUL airport. Racing around in bobcats, pushing snow and making money. But the best and most fun part I think was the ride to and from the airport in my truck. Absolutely zero traction. Bumper to bumper traffic, going half a mile an hour. We talked a lot about life, family, shared interests, and future hopes. That's where I really got to know him. He was a really proud father. Life was going slow for both of us at the time, but he had big plans for the future. 
He was really dedicated to family and was a hard worker. I knew that given the time he would achieve his dreams. I've only met a handful of what I call "Stand up" people in my time on this planet, and Joe definitely fit in that category! I didn't know him long, but in the time that I did I learned quite a bit about and from him. There aren't a lot of people I miss, but I definitely miss him. Rest easy my friend. You've earned it! May we see each other on the other side!                ~Kyle M. ~

I met Joe back when I was in high school. I was babysitting and he was working as a landscaper next door and came over and asked for my number. We dated for awhile. He had a good heart and was a caring and loving guy. I heard of his accident on the news and instantly was hoping it was not the Joe I dated back in the day and unfortunately it really saddens me that it is. I am so glad for the time we had back in the day and pray for peace in comfort for his family during this hard time. RIP Joe until we meet again🙏

I remember when we were in treatment at Nuway 3r you always brightened up the room and you always knew the words to say when people in the group was having a bad day or just was in a funk you made a bad day go away love you sober brother ♥️♥️.  Love always Mandy from treatment.
