Passed away July 21, 2012. She was born in Presque Isle, Maine to Donald E. and Charline M. (Madore) Langley. Karel is survived by Daughter Sara Stibitz, Partner Tom Martin, Brother Alan Langley, Sister Kari Raymond, also survived by Craig & Val Martin, and Amy & Tim Kahlow, four Grandchildren Joey Martin, Jaren Martin, Emily Kahlow, and Kailey Grace Kahlow, and many Nieces and Nephews. Karel graduated from the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing in 1974 and worked as a nurse throughout her career. She served in the Minnesota Air National Guard as a flight nurse from 1987 to 1992 and achieved the rank of captain. In the meantime, she earned an Associate's Degree from Normandale Community College graduating in 1990. Toward the end of her career, Karel managed the Riverway Andover Healthpartners Clinic. Karel had a wonderful laugh and a quick wit. She had a love of books, education, travel, her country, her family and friends. Karel will be dearly missed. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Friday, July 27, 2012, at Church of St. Stephen, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass. Interment at Epiphany Cemetery.
