

She was born on September 9, 1946, in Madison, Minnesota, the only child of Harlowe and Wanda Hendrickson. Kathy dedicated many years of her career to working at Onan/Cummins in Fridley, Minnesota. She found great joy in both her work and her community, forming lasting friendships along the way.
Kathy spent many years, both before and after retirement, golfing and enjoying her homes at Carefree Country Club in Big Lake, Minnesota, and Casa Loma in Bradenton, Florida. She was an active and dedicated volunteer, giving her time to organizations including the Fridley American Legion, VFW, Eagles, Lions Club, Jaycees, Carefree Country Club, and Casa Loma. She enjoyed many years of bowling, happy hours with friends in Florida, and was an avid crafter, especially scrapbooking, and card making,
Above all, Kathy cherished her role as a grandma. Her favorite moments were spent with her grandkids, whom brought her immense pride and joy.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Dana Pomerleau and Ann (David) Faust; and her cherished grandchildren, Alyx Faust, Lauren Pomerleau, Alyssa Faust, and Ashlyn Pomerleau. As well as many cousins, family, friends, and her cat Luna (Tic).
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Gerald "Jerry", and her parents, Harlowe and Wanda Hendrickson.
Kathy will be remembered for her big heart as well as her feisty, spunky, and sarcastic spirit, and the lasting impression she made on those fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
A Memorial Luncheon Celebration of Kathy’s life will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Shadrick-LaBeau American Legion Post #303, 7365 Central Avenue NE, Fridley, Minnesota.
In lieu of flowers (unless non-toxic to animals), memorials are preferred to National Loon Center Foundation in Kathy’s honor.
