Melva will be deeply missed by her children, Lon (Colleen) Maxwell, Laura Maxwell and Brian (Cheryl) Maxwell; grandchildren, Jeff (Shawn) Maxwell, Jon (Kelli) Maxwell, Jenna Maxwell, John (Cynthia) Maxwell, Tristan (Cynthia) Maxwell, Abbie (Alex) Smith, Alan (Alysia) Maxwell, Sada (Eli) Miernicki; great-grandchildren, J.R. Maxwell, Alistair Maxwell, Noah Smith, Jasmine Maxwell, Winston Maxwell, Sienna Smith, Esme Miernicki, Zoe Maxwell; loving nieces and nephews; many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 4101 Washington St. NE, Columbia Heights. Visitation will begin at 10am. Interment at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids.
