Rachel “Charley” Joy Charlesworth, 31, passed away in San Antonio, Texas, on September 24, 2023. Her family is deeply saddened by her death.

Rachel was born on June 11, 1992, to Allan and Julie Charlesworth in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. After graduating from high school, she served in the U.S. Marine Corps from October 2013 to October 2018. She had a passion for working with dogs. After her military service she went on to train service dogs for veterans, and later detection dogs for government work.

Rachel was preceded in death by her mother, Julie; brother, Peter; nephew, Spencer.

Rachel is survived by her father, Allan; siblings, Brian (Kate), Tim (Stacey), Ben (Amelia), Mark (Holly), Emily (Wes), Laura (Greg), Patrick (Molly), Jeremy (Kara), Marie (Steven); also, many nieces and nephews who will miss her fierce loyalty, bold personality, and sense of humor.

Memorial Service 1:00 pm Friday, October 6, 2023, at Gearhart Funeral Home - 11275 Foley Blvd. NW.,

Coon Rapids, MN - Visitation 12noon until time of service at the funeral home.
