A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024, at The Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids, with The Rev. Paul Hedman officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation period one hour prior to the service (9:30 a.m.) on Friday at The Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. Burial arrangements will be scheduled at a later date.
Mitzi was born November 4, 1954, in St. Cloud to George and Harriet (Rhode) Juetten. She married Richard Diederich on September 8, 1973, at St. Elizabeth Church, Brennyville. Residing in Coon Rapids for most of her life, she dedicated 35 years of service to General Dynamics. She was an active member of The Church of Epiphany, engaging in adoration for over 15 years.
Above all, Mitzi will be remembered for her incredible strength in overcoming adversity, surviving cancer for 18 years. She never let cancer define her, and instead, lived each day to the fullest, cherishing the beauty of life and the love of family and friends.
Surviving her are her beloved husband, Richard, her son Richard (Stephanie), Tucson, and daughter Stacy (Reuben) Ndely, New Hope. Also left to cherish her memory are three grandchildren, McKenna, Beckham Ndely, Georgia Ndely, and siblings: Elaine Helmin, Milaca; Kenny (Theresa) Juetten, Hillman; Wayne (Sandi) Juetten, Hillman; Nancy (Kenny) Garrison, Rice; and Linda (Duane) Schraut, Pierz. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Carol and her husband, Gerald Scapanski, and brother-in-law Frank Helmin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Stroke Association in Mitzi’s memory.
