

Tim will be missed greatly by his family and those close to him because he was always a rock in our lives. Tim was an "old soul" - wise beyond his years who had a strong understanding of the world around him. We will definitely miss his sarcastic wit, his calming force in situations, his fighting strong spirit, and his empathy and care for us. He inspired us all, made a huge difference and had a special impact on everyone of us.
Tim met the love of his life, Julie Rosty in 1995. They married on August 2nd, 1999. Together, they built a dedicated, beautiful, and devoted life - caring for each other and helping others. His wife Julie is immensely proud of him and has been Blessed by God with Tim's unconditional love for 28 years!!!
In his work life, Tim worked various jobs which included painting exterior homes, working with foam in factory jobs, and doing maintenance work. He also worked as a glazier, a diesel mechanic, and did many home remodeling jobs. He was known to be efficiently skilled, meticulous, and crafty at his work.
Tim was accomplished at being a self taught handyman. He touched the lives of many individuals by his love for helping others, his thoughtfulness, and his expertise on home repairs. He was known to be a talented handyman who could fix just about anything. He was often called upon by others for his advice and was a go-to person for anyone.
Tim was creative and extremely imaginative. He enjoyed building things and working with his hands. He was a guy who held many interests and hobbies... camping, woodworking, salt water fish tanks, golf carting, ATVing, & ice fishing...just to name a few. People will remember his love for tools and admiration for stereo sound systems/TVs...and basically anything related to computer technology gadgets.
Tim will also be remembered for being a DIY guy for any kind of home improvement project. He created amazing & lovely home remodeling work that his family, friends, and customers appreciated and admired!
Tim loved traveling, most especially driving his favorite car on the open road, often taking the scenic route to any destination with Pink Floyd on the stereo. He admired beautiful landscapes and nature. He loved the Great Smoky Mountains, but his favorite areas were Western Montana and the California Redwoods. He fell in love with the famous scenic drive among the Redwoods called, "Avenue of the Giants".
Tim was preceded in death by his dad, Dennis McLellan.
Tim for forever be missed and remembered by his loving wife of 28 years, Julie Rosty-McLellan; mom, Phyllis McLellan; sister, Lori (Rick) Major and other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 3 pm - 5 pm at
Gearhart Funeral Home - 11275 Foley Blvd. NW., Coon Rapids.
