Age 93, of Coon Rapids, passed away on Jan 3, 2012. Proud WWII Army Veteran. Litchfield HS graduate. Past member of the Finnish-American Society and volunteer with: Red Cross, Thrivent, Meals on Wheels and his church - as a 50+ yr member of Peace Lutheran. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Marguerite; sons, William Jr. (Lisa Holt), Gerald (Cheryl), and Roger (Elaine); son-in-law, Robert Doran; 14 grand & 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Julie) and Howard (Ann); and a large extended family. Preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine Doran. Funeral Service: 11 AM, Saturday, Jan 7 at Peace Lutheran Church, 20 Northdale Blvd, Coon Rapids. Visitation 1 hr prior.
