Surviving is his beloved wife, Fran; his children - James and daughter-in-law, Peg; Frank; Mary Calder; Joe and daughter-in-law, Janet; and Katie Colletti and son-in-law, John; his grandchildren; and his sisters - Catherine Lyons and Patsy Hanley. John is predeceased by his son, John, Jr., and his sisters, Margaret Devane and Maureen Burns.
Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Sunday, June 22nd, from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. During the evening hours, a prayer service will be offered. On Monday, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church in Copiague. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village, Queens.
