

Mr. Moore was born in Ayden, North Carolina to his late parents, Jessy and Lizzy Moore. After graduating from high school, he decided to support his country and joined the military. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Robert served with the 101st Airborne Division, which is a part of the 506th Airborne Infantry Regiment. In his years of work, he pursued excellence in his profession, and earned the level of Press Master in the field of lithography. During his professional years, he also devoted time to the Masons, and was a member of the Royal Arch Masons, Eureka Chapter 17.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Mattie; and his brother, J.C. Moore. He leaves to cherish his memories - his brother and sister Douglas and Priscilla; his children – Andre and daughter-in-law, Lisa; Nelson and daughter-in-law, Francine; Curtis Holland and daughter-in-law, Patricia and Harry II and daughter-in-law, Lee. Also surviving are his cherished grandchildren – Cheynen, Harry III, David, Shemiyah, Jazmin, Nelson II, Tiffany, James, Kelly, Marquis H., Marquis S, Shaquan, Rashon, Nigeria, LeJohn and great-granddaughter, Egypt. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces – Fletcher, Patricia, Darene, Jannette, Kenneth, and Douglas Jr,
Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Friday, November 9th, from 2 - 4:30 and 7 - 9:30 p.m. On Saturday, a short gathering will be held at the funeral home from 9-12. The Funeral Mass will be offered at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church in Copiague. Entombment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
