Jason Robert Rowenhorst passed away peacefully on Friday, May 21, of 2021 with his parents, Jim and Sandy, by his side. He left this world holding the hands of the two people that were there when he entered.
Jason was born in Orange City Iowa and grew up in both Kansas & Oklahoma. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School in Oklahoma in 2003. He did his undergraduate schooling at the University of Oklahoma, then went on to Cleveland Chiropractic where he earned his doctorate of chiropractic. After graduation, he joined Dr. Lawrence Grimm at Premier Sports Chiropractic in Dallas and loved being able to truly help people.
In January of 2021, Jason was diagnosed with bladder cancer. In the months that followed, the aggressive nature of his illness continuously surprised everyone. As he battled he never lost his patience, love and appreciation for the people supporting him. He was brought to tears many times because of the loving generosity, thoughtfulness & caring of so many of his friends, patients & family.
Jason had a special gift for creating and nurturing enduring relationships. Countless people were drawn to his gregarious charm. The most important person to Jason was always the person lucky enough to be with him in that moment.
Jason is survived by:
His parents;Jim & Sandy Rowenhorst
His brothers and their families; Topher & Ryan Rowenhorst
-Grandmothers and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jason will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and patients. One of Jason’s favorite things was tailgating at OU Football games. We would like to celebrate his life in the way he loved living it.
